In Arizona, the qualifications for becoming a real estate broker include being a licensed real estate agent for a minimum of three years (full-time), taking considerable classroom course work in real estate law and finance, and passing state and national examinations. In Arizona, most real estate agents cannot qualify for or are not interested in obtaining a real estate broker license.
